At St Mary’s Catholic School we live our gospel values to be like Jesus in our words and actions. Our ākonga contribute positively to their own well-being, that of the community and their environment by showing Respect, Care and Responsibility (Tīnana & Hinengaro).
We value and celebrate the role of whānau and our partnerships with families, ākonga, teachers and community, by embracing cultural diversity in all we do.
We hold high aspirations for all to meet and exceed the expectations of the New Zealand Curriculum (Matauranga). Our ākonga and teachers are supported to be curious, confident, compassionate, connected, creative and collaborative learners.
Through effective teaching and rich learning opportunities St Mary’s ākonga will learn, pray and serve using their heads, hearts and hands, living in a relationship with Christ (Mana).
